I am 1.84m tall, I took the 1.80m size and it fits me very well even considering a bit of shrinkage after the first wash. I don't really like trousers that go down to the ankles and sleeves that reach the wrists. View original View translation **JEAN YVES LABASTHE** I recommend this product KB Very pleasantly surprised by the quality/price ratio. Très agréablement surpris par le rapport qualité / prix 6 years ago To keep it simple: I own a Shureido Tournament TK-10 and I came across this Karate-gi as a "spare" for my Shureido. Considering the quite attractive price based on the various comments I’ve read and the quality advertised, I thought "Let’s give it a try!". And to my great surprise, this gi exceeds my expectations! Honestly, I was expecting something well-made but not to this extent given the price! The cut is really nice, you can feel the fabric is of good quality, very comfortable to wear, and the snap effect is just right, as advertised! Being a kata-style gi, I expected something quite heavy, but actually not that much! Is it because I’m comparing it to the TK-10 that makes me think it feels light? 😅 For someone who is 1.69m tall, I took the 170, knowing that the trousers fit perfectly but the jacket sleeves are a tiny bit long, but I think that’s more of a personal preference to have slightly shorter sleeves rather than a standard for this product. To finish, I recommend this Karate-gi to any practitioner, beginner or experienced. I myself am a first Dan black belt in Shotokan Karate, and I highly recommend this little gem at a more than attractive price considering the quality it offers!! I was a bit concerned about the size, so I chose a 1.8m to fit my 1.79m height, and the jacket is great, although the trousers are a bit long. They don't seem to have shrunk after the first washes. In any case, I find the value for money quite fair. Additionally, I received the delivery quickly, so great service. Thanks to the budofight team. Just one small thing... the keychain... not very impressive! But it's a free bonus. I'm sure you can find some other, more stylish goodies. I took a 1.55m for someone who is 1.54m and I must say that after a wash that slightly shrank it (45 minutes at 40°C), it fits perfectly. If you are 1.80m tall, then go for a 1.80m or a 1.75m. Excellent Gi, very crisp and comfortable, and it is sturdy and sufficiently stiff.
