## THE ORIGINS OF THE BRAND

Everlast is the leading American combat sports brand, founded in **1910**. Everlast was born in the **Bronx**, a neighborhood in New York. At just 17 years old, Jacob Golomb launched the company by first creating a new generation of swimsuits, **designed to last**, which inspired the name "Everlast"!

In 1917, boxer **Jack Dempsey** asked the company to create a pair of shorts that could withstand multiple fights. The result was a success! Over the years, the brand focused on boxing equipment. Joe Frazier, Sugar Ray Leonard, and even **Muhammad Ali** have all chosen this boxing gear.

Today, Everlast also designs **apparel and accessories**, and now caters to fitness and MMA enthusiasts: the brand has even won several World MMA Awards for best equipment manufacturer.
