Judo World Championships 2015: First Medal for France!

Finally! France wins its first medal at the 2015 Judo World Championships!

This Wednesday, Automne Pavia (-57 kg) claimed the first medal for France in Astana! She takes home her second bronze medal, following her victory at last year’s World Championships.

Defeated in the semifinals by reigning Olympic champion Kaori Matsumoto, she managed to overcome American Malloy to secure third place.

A promising sign after a rather tough start for the French team! Congratulations to her!
