Discover the **Master Meiji Aikido Gi by Budo-Fight**: 100% cotton fabric with discreet seams! ## An ultra-durable 100% cotton aikido gi The **“Master Meiji” Aikido Gi** has been specially designed for intensive aikido training. It will support your practice for years to come. Its **gi jacket** with a weight of 700 g/m² has undergone a special treatment to make it softer, providing you with both comfort and durability. Premium manufacturing worthy of the best practitioners! This **100% cotton keikogi** features a **reinforced jacket with no seam down the back**, and the sleeves are shorter than those of a judo gi to make wrist grabs easier. ## Meticulous attention to detail The “Master Meiji” aikido gi is all about comfort! The seams on the back have been minimized and made very discreet to **make breakfalls more comfortable**. Its design is understated, but you’ll find a **Japanese “aikido” embroidery** on the sleeve. This keikogi has a **slim fit**: depending on your build and shoulder width, don’t hesitate to **choose one size up**. The specific design of the lower part of the gi makes it suitable for wearing with a **[hakama](https://www.budo-fight.com/en/catalog/other-disciplines/aikido/hakama)**. This aikido gi is notably worn by the famous **Christian Tissier!** ## Learn more about the Master Meiji Aikido Gi Want to know more about the Master Meiji Aikido Gi? EXCELLENT! 4 years ago Very good product that I recommend. For my part, I took one size up as recommended (I am 1.74m tall and weigh 70kg, so I went for the 180cm). It was a bit large on the first try, but you can see that the fabric shrinks after the first wash. After a second, or even third wash, everything should be perfect. Be aware, the kimono is very heavy. I don't think I'll use it in the summer. And the initial uses might be a bit uncomfortable, as the cotton isn't fully "broken in" or softened yet. View original View translation **CLAUDE Delabia** I recommend this product AA Quality product Produit de qualité 4 years ago Durable fabric and comfortable to wear. I am 1.78m tall and, following the advice of the Budo-fight team, I chose size 190. After a 40°C wash, the fit is excellent. The gi is very well cut. The sleeves are of standard length; personally, I prefer them a bit shorter, like some models from Seido, but we're not in the same price range. Nonetheless, the quality is quite similar. It’s therefore a product with an excellent quality/price ratio. The weight is perfect for me, offering great sensations during movements, and the fabric remains flexible.
